Headboard posts stand 47”h / Foot-board posts stand 30”h – bed posts are on average 4-5” in diameter

**This style of log bed is constructed so that your box-spring and mattress sit on top of the frame / side-rails – ( not inside the frame).

You will have a 5" clearance under the side rails, you can choose the add on raise side-rails option to raise side-rails an extra 8"-This is recommended when NOT using a box spring.  You'll want to get your own plywood to set ON TOP of our mattress supports.
